Is an interest in personal finance hereditary?

Well, it may not be hereditary, but I think it definitely has soemthing to do with the examples set forth by family throughout your life. Thanks to my father, my brother and I have a healthy interest in personal finance and everyday cost-cutting measures such as shopping sales and using coupons. He also stresses how to let your money work for you by investing it in CDs, Roth IRAs and other interest-bearing accounts. I have yet to venture into stocks as of yet, but I think I’m about ready.

So thanks for always letting me know which grocery stores are having triple coupons, Dad!
