Blog inadequacy?

Sometimes I feel like my little slice of personal finance isn’t too interesting to you, dear readers. We’re minimally in debt, don’t have a mortgage and continually save money every month. I don’t have any of those fancy-schmancy bean counter bars on the side of this blog (that’s mostly because I’m writing about my PF adventures publicly). I don’t have a lot of advice to offer, just little things here and there.

I guess I can take solace in the fact that our financial state is fairly secure, even though we’re solidly middle class. We live within our means and just aspire to own a house, have kids and have a Wildwood vacation every year…

On a completely unrelated note, I came home today to find that our little Misfit the cat learned how to worm his way into the kitchen cabinets — the upper ones. I discovered two glasses on the counter, and a bunch of other glasses IN the cabinet knocked over. Thank goodness nothing was broken, but now we have to “cat-proof” the doors by tying them shut. The joy of cat ownership! My older cat is not this smart, poor thing, and I never had to worry about these things before!
