I don’t buy a lot of stuff online — half the time I’m not home to get the packages and I hate the whole tag-you’re-it of delivery notices. But when I do, you can be sure I’m scouring the Web for coupon codes. And nowadays, I’m even more vigilant about finding a great deal than usual.
Almost every online retailer I’ve used (especially lately, we’ve shopped online for wedding-related purchases such as our invitations) has discounts or free shipping codes if you know where to look. There are a number of great websites where codes are collected in a categorized database. The store websites themselves usually advertise a number of their promotional codes and their expiration dates, but doing your own research can be the difference between 10% off and 30% off.
And according to an article from the Christian Science Monitor, “31.6 million people visited a coupon or promotional code website” in December.
The MSN.com Shopping channel has its own list of coupons for more than 100 online retailers.
