I hesitate to post this because I don’t want to see people tomorrow morning out scouring my garbage cans for my information but I am horrible about this! I don’t even open many bills, I just chuck them my OUTSIDE trashcan on my in the house. I’ve been lucky so far but you’ve convinced me to at least rip them up. Instead of a shredder, maybe I’ll wrap them up in dirty diapers.

I always tell my wife to rip up promotional mail from card companies before she throws it away. Too paranoid not to. All other bills and such get fed to the shredder.

I finally got a shredder about two months ago. It’s right under my desk by my trash can. I chose one of the ones that shreds into little diamond pieces. I’m glad I finally invested in one.

Me! I was the victim of a credit card theft. But I suspect it was a parking lot attendant that had done this. I have a monthly parking pass and the way for them to charge me is through my credit card information. So maybe someone stole it from there.

But yes, shred every important piece of mail you get.

Shredder FTW! I just ordered my lovely new friend from Staples when they had a big Insta-Rebate so it was marked down, plus I applied Staples Rewards to it so I was only about $16 out of pocket and I’ve been happily shredding for a week.
